Diablo Dancers is a welcoming gay and lesbian social group located in San Francisco East Bay. Our group creates fun gatherings and innovative dancing. We pride ourselves on being supportive and making new and lasting friends. We create a nurturing environment while sharing fun and laughs. We support deserving causes within the community. Our members come from all over the Eastbay/Northbay and San Francisco area. Open to all square dancers, Diablo Dancers does not discriminate in any way regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, religion or for any other reason.
Our fun and energizing square dancing is for all skill levels - from absolute beginner and wanna-try-something-new to intermediate and advanced. Our members also enjoy such activities as pool parties, outings in the park, New Year's Eve and Oscar night parties, Pride activities, joining ours and other club's dance nights around the bay area and Western US, and attending our national organization's yearly convention.

Membership to the Diablo Dancers requires an individual be proficient in square dancing at the Mainstream level. Prior to Mainstream graduation, class members are not technically "members" of the club although they are eligible to fully participate in club activities with the exception of voting or running for the Board of Directors. Membership requires annual renewal during the months of March and April. Annual fees are $35.00 per dancer and are non-refundable and will not be pro-rated. If you'd like to become a member of Diablo Dancers, click on the membership form link below, complete the form and mail it back with your annual fee to the post office box listed on the form. Upon receipt of your membership form and annual fee, your name, address and other pertinent information will be made available to the club membership.
